the conversation was about how Michelle thinks girls are second class citizens. I was telling her that I believe girls and guys are on the same level. She countered by saying that her purpose in this life was to serve her husband and that Blair should be serving me. I disagreed with her vehemently, only to have her say, "Don't make me come over there and pull some marine fighting maneuvers all up in your grill. I kicked your ass at shamrock, don't make me do it in front of your family." Michelle is pretty hard core.
i think this was when mike was saying that girls cant be marines because they are not good enough. at this point..blair and I slowly started to get out of our chairs because clearly Michelle is counting to 10 here so she doesn't get up and kick mikes's ass...our intention was to grab summer then cheer mlb on when the inevitable smack down began. Thinking quickly on her feet, Blair yelled 'i smell freshly baked cookies' and michelle lost all train of thought. disaster averted! good work, blair.
